Project HOPE Volunteers Begin Latin America Mission

More than two dozen Project HOPE medical volunteers boarded the USNS Comfort in Miami on Sunday to begin the first leg of a 4-month humanitarian and health education mission to seven countries in the Caribbean and Latin America. Tom Stanton, a VP and Senior Counsel for Marriott International, Inc., will be serving as Public Affairs Officer on the mission through mid May. Check back soon for stories and photos.
